A software company that uses its own software.
Kismet Software LLC is a Utah limited liability company. It builds and operates its own products rather than selling development hours as its main business — six of them are live today, each trading under its own name as a DBA of the parent.
Six different businesses, one engineering discipline underneath: multi-tenant organizations, per-tenant envelope encryption with a KMS seam, MFA and email verification, RS256 JWT APIs, rate limiting, strict CSP with a nonce-based script policy, audit logging, and the performance work that keeps all of it fast once there is real data in it.
That foundation is now something you can buy directly — as Kismet Blocks, a build assembled from the same parts, or as an engagement on the application you already have.
Who
Kismet is one engineer. That is worth saying plainly rather than writing "we" everywhere and hoping nobody asks: you will be talking to the person who writes the code, and the schedule is bounded by one calendar.
The Spring Cloud series and the Spring Session guide on Baeldung are ours, and still editorially maintained there. Those tutorials use in-memory users and disabled CSRF, which is correct for a tutorial — the article ends where production begins. The six products are what came after, built four times over.
